Induction Heating Systems And More To Be Displayed By Ambrell At WESTEC 2013

Ambrell, an Ameritherm company and a leading manufacturer of induction heating systems, will exhibit at WESTEC 2013. The event will take place October 15-17 in Los Angeles, CA and Ambrell representatives will be present in booth 2051.

At the booth, an induction heating demonstration will be offered that shows how eVIEW induction heating software benefits clients.

WESTEC is a west coast manufacturing technology show, catering to markets such as aerospace, defense, automotive, energy and more. Ambrell has extensive experience helping companies in the aforementioned markets with heating applications such as aerospace fastener preheating for forging, preheating cylinder liners for insertion into aluminum engine blocks, drill bit preheating for insert brazing, melting and much more.

Induction heating is a rapid, efficient, controllable, non-contact method of heating electrically conductive materials. Nonconductive materials can also be heated with a conductive susceptor. Systems often require less of a footprint than other heating methods; especially when one considers that the coil and workhead can be placed away from the induction power supply.

Ambrell manufactures a wide range of high and low frequency induction heating systems, ranging from 1 kW to 1.2 MW. Systems are manufactured at its Scottsville, NY USA headquarters. The cornerstone of the Ambrell experience is its applications testing. The Ambrell Applications Lab will test the client’s application and recommend the right system based on their process requirements.

“We’re looking forward to exhibiting at WESTEC once again,” said Tom Dickerson, Director of Sales. “We have a great base of customers in the region, as we have a strong history of supporting customers – particularly within the fastener market where we’ve provided solutions with our eVIEW induction heating software to help customers meet client specifications. We look forward to seeing our current customers, and showing new customers how our solutions can help increase their productivity.”
