As a committed global material supplier for the medical market, Eastman Chemical Company is continually developing new offerings and using its existing innovations to meet industry needs. At the COMPAMED trade fair, Eastman will be sharing two pieces of news: the launch of a new plasticizer product available in Europe and the announcement of new medical devices made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester.
Eastman will showcase its new medical market offerings at Stand 8aP04 in Hall 8a at the COMPAMED trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, Nov. 20 to 22. Show attendees and members of the media are invited to visit Eastman’s stand to learn more about the company and its offerings and to speak to representatives.
Eastman 168™ SG non-phthalate plasticizer — designed specifically for the medical market — will serve as an alternate to similar plasticizers currently available to develop applications such as tubing and medical bags. This new plasticizer will offer an option for original equipment manufacturers in light of looming regulatory changes regarding materials for medical devices in Europe.
The new products made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester respond to an industry need for high-performance devices made without bisphenol A. This new generation copolyester provides superior clarity, toughness and chemical resistance to devices.
