Heat Pipe Technology (HPT) a division of MiTek® Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company, today announced that it was recently named one of four finalists in its category among 18,000 businesses that applied for the Manufacturers Association of Florida’s Manufacturer of the Year award. The award ceremony was recently held at the 10th Annual Manufacturers Summit and Marketplace in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Heat Pipe Technology was judged on leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, workforce focus, and process management. In addition to evaluation of HPT’s application, the judges also toured HPT’s facilities.
“All our finalists demonstrated a commitment to excellence in their manufacturing businesses. We are delighted to have such exemplary manufacturing companies in Florida and congratulate the winners of this year’s competition,” said Nancy Stephens, Executive Director, Manufacturers Association of Florida (MAF).
