February 2014 –There is an exciting new design option available in solid surfaces, offering an advanced solution for darker colours and delivering high performance, elegance and reliability.
The new Deep Black Quartz tone of DuPont™ Corian®, a rich black landscape offset by
a vivid array of ivory specks. is one of the four new black tones of DuPont™ Corian® made with DeepColour™ Technology*. This new manufacturing technology enables DuPont to produce solid surfaces
in dark colours featuring an enhanced combination of beauty and functionality.

New DeepColour™ Technology has been used to produce four sophisticated black tones:

Deep Nocturne, a classic, solid, and ultra-versatile jet black

Deep Anthracite, a lustrous black immersed with minute flecks of silver.

Deep Black Quartz, a sleek black landscape offset by an array of ivory specks

Deep Night Sky, a midnight black with a galaxy of translucent particles.
As part of its "Endless Evolution" initiative, DuPont has again set the standard in advanced surfacing materials for interior design and architecture. DeepColour™ Technology (a patent pending invention) now enables the creation of dark solid surfaces which offer deeper, more intense and durable colour, improved wear performance, plus easier thermoforming, seaming and finishing.
