Ambrell, a leading manufacturer of induction heating systems, has sold an EKOHEAT 15 kW/100 kHz induction heating system to a supplier of automotive automation solutions.
The client will use the EKOHEAT in a system that hardens the teeth of starter ring gears. The starter ring gear transfers torque from the starter motor pinion to the flywheel, which rotates the engine so it begins to cycle.
Ambrell EKOHEAT 15 kW/100 kHz induction heating systems provide rapid, efficient, repeatable heating. Thanks to their ability to change transformer taps and capacitors, EKOHEATs are also highly versatile and able to heat parts of varying sizes and geometries. EKOHEAT systems have long been popular within the automotive industry.
Ambrell was founded over 25 years ago and has sold more than 10,000 systems into over 50 countries. All clients are offered free application testing to ensure their system achieves process objectives. For more information about Ambrell, visit www.ambrell.com or call +1 585-889-9000.
