The Program Committee is pleased to announce the call for papers for the Pittcon 2015 Technical Program. Abstracts are currently being accepted for contributed oral and poster presentations in areas such as, but not limited to, analytical chemistry, applied spectroscopy, life science, bioanalysis, food science, nanotechnology, environmental science and pharmaceutical. Additional details are available at www.pittcon.org.
The 2015 committee is especially interested in topics relevant to energy and fuels. Program Chairman Hub MacDonald commented, “Since this year’s conference will be in New Orleans with Louisiana holding the greatest concentration of oil refineries, natural gas processing plants and petrochemical production facilities in the western hemisphere, we believe the focus on energy and fuels is a perfect complement to the 2015 Technical Program.”
All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Pittcon website. The submission deadline to be included in the first round of reviews is Friday, August 15, 2014. Abstracts received after this date will be placed on a waiting list.
