PicoQuant congratulates Stefan W. Hell, W.E. Moerner, and Eric Betzig, who have been awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of "super-resolved fluorescence microscopy".

PicoQuant are proud to support the work of these outstanding scientists by supplying them with their class leading picosecond pulsed diode lasers as well as TCSPC electronics.
Especially the long term collaboration with the research group of Prof. Hell in Göttingen has been a pleasure and they are looking forward to further fruitful projects in the future.
Only a few weeks ago, both Stefan W. Hell and W.E. Moerner, presented their work at PicoQuant's 20th anniversary workshop on "Single Molecule Spectroscopy and Ultrasensitive Analysis in the Life Sciences".
Stefan W. Hell's presentation about far-field optical nanoscopy as well as W.E. Moerner's presentation on single molecules as nanoscale light sources for super-resolution imaging were a true highlight of that event.
Their work has not only inspired many researchers in the past, but also laid the basis for the development of outstanding microscopy systems such as PicoQuant's MicroTime 200 STED.
