For years, they are among the best sellers under the high-precision linear stages – the OWIS® LIMES 124. With their excellent positioning properties they are particularly suitable for use in research and development, where highest precision is required.
LIMES 124-IMS
The LIMES 124 are like-wise ideal for industrial use – by their suitability for continuous opera-tion. After a comprehensive review the motorized positioners are additionally available with newly integrated measuring system from the third quarter 2015.
The currently available LIMES 124 are controlled by an external meas-uring system that requires additional space. Compared to the original model, the new LIMES 124-IMS show a significant improvement on this point. Despite the integrated measuring system, the given size of the unit could be kept equally compact.
Consequently the new high-precision linear stages are particularly suitable for use in limited spaces. Further advantages result from the specific placement of the measuring system. Centred under the slide it supports targeted high-precision positioning. The complete control of the unit, including the measuring system, is easily performed using only one connector.
The further developed LIMES 124-IMS are characterized by their high-quality and technologically advanced components. The integrated ball screw and recirculating ball bearing guides provide a highly accurate positioning with very long life. The backlash-free guides provide optimal motion as well as high load capacity. The highly resistant black ano-dized protective coating of the aluminium parts prevents almost all re-flections or stray light.
The LIMES 124-IMS are available in different installation sizes and travel ranges of up to 290 mm, with 2-phase step motor or DC servo motor with encoder. All linear stages of the product line LIMES 124 can be combined and mounted arbitrarily, and thus allow flexible working.
Vacuum-prepared versions are available on request. Of course, the LIMES 124-IMS are of quality "Made in Germany".
