Michell Instruments Ltd has formed a supplier agreement with Axens, one of the leading providers of catalytic technologies to the global hydrocarbon processing industry, for the provision of on-line moisture analysers.
A member of the IFP Technologies Group, Axens IFP is based in France. It licenses refinery processes such as isomerisation, reforming, oligmerisation and hydrogenation in plants around the world. Michell’s process moisture analysers have been selected for moisture measurement in both liquids and gases.
The specific analyzers listed in the agreement include the Promet and Liquidew, which use ceramic impedance technology and are available in both flame-proof and intrinsically safe versions, and the QMA601 process moisture analyzer which uses the latest quartz-crystal microbalance (QCM) sensing technology.
