The TERS probes have been the primary limiting factor that prevented NanoRaman from becoming a routine and analytical characterization technique. Today, HORIBA completes their TERS Probes line with new Silver coated AFM-TERS probes that offer x10 more Raman amplification than the Au coated AFM-TERS probes.

The HORIBA TERS probes are guaranteed to produce Raman signal enhancement of 633/638 nm on a reliable test sample crafted to easily show this performance. 9 out of 10 of our probes are guaranteed to reach > 40 times improved contrast between the near-field and far-field Raman intensities, leading to an enhancement factor (EF) up to 106. The TERS probes allow all modes of TERS operation: Top, side and bottom optical access. Made of a multilayer coating on AFM cantilevers with a final protective layer, the TERS probes are delivered in a protective package to maximize shelf-life.

Even more than the amplification of the signal, the real proof of TERS is its nano-resolution. The combination of HORIBA's NanoRaman systems with our new Silver AFM-TERS probes provides the highest enhancement to address exciting nano scientific discovery down to 15 nm resolution and below.

Our new Silver TERS Probes are the result of extensive development and enables us to guarantee their performance. Our service team assists and supports you during start-up phase of your AFM/Raman system on site. The efficient operation of our TERS proven NanoRaman systems requires a fine tuning of parameters. Besides a detailed product training, also a complete TERS procedure to obtain TERS imaging is provided.

Our NanoRaman - TERS solution is robust, compact, easy-to-use and currently available for chemical imaging at the nanoscale for real world applications.
