Michelman’s expertise in coatings solutions will be on full display during the upcoming European Coatings Show 2019, as they showcase their extensive line of water-based additives and binders for wood, metal, concrete, and architectural coating applications.
Several materials formulated for specific applications will be highlighted:
- Water-based surface modifiers and solvent-free polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) for wood and concrete coatings
- Water-based materials for sealing and CoF control in metal coatings
- Building blocks for seed coatings to optimize the planting and processing of seeds
The company’s Michem™ Dispersion Urethane line of products contains a variety of water-based PUDs and acrylic hybrids for high-performance wood and concrete coating applications. These environmentally friendly alternatives to solvent-based binders promote rapid hardness development, provide good early water resistance, and offer excellent chemical resistance.
Michelman’s ProHere® line brings products designed to provide corrosion protection for metal, including copolymer dispersions for use in electroplating sealer coats, and surface modifiers and lubricants for COF control.
Visitors will also be introduced to NurtureYield®, Michelman’s flagship brand of seed coating solutions, developed by a global team of scientists dedicated to developing materials for use in seed coatings. NurtureYield products ensure the even processing and planting of corn, soybeans, and other seeds, provide dust-off prevention, reduce skips & doubles, and improve flowability—all without compromising germination of the seed.
Well known as a developer of water-based surface additives for wood coatings, the Michelman team will showcase their proprietary and low VOC Michem® Wood Coating line of wood treatments with coated samples, enabling attendees to see the performance of these materials first-hand. These solutions provide long-lasting protection for outdoor applications such as decks, fences, outdoor furniture, and garden sheds, delivering excellent wood penetration and water beading, superior water resistance, excellent weatherability, and inhibition of mold growth.
You can learn more about these and other Michelman solutions March 19-21, 2019 in Hall 7, Stand 7-423.
