Linkam representatives from the US and Europe will be showcasing the Modular Force Stage (MFS), Linkam’s electrical stages and the RH95 Relative Humidity Controller, which provide temperature and environmental control to sample characterisation for photovoltaics, green energy, semiconductors and mechanical testing for composite materials and tissue engineering.
The MFS has been designed to characterise the mechanical properties of a range of sample types from carbon fibres to tissue. It can be configured to correlate the tensile or compressive forces with temperature, RH and even the electrical properties of the materials under test. It has been optimised to work with optical microscopy but can also easily combined with a number of other analytical techniques, including X-ray, Raman and FT-IR.
The MFS is one of a wide range of temperature-controlled stages from Linkam. Each is designed to be able to accurately control the sample environment whilst using microscopy or other analytical techniques to characterise changes in the microstructure of the sample.
We’re thrilled to be back on the road talking to and networking with our customers, both old and new, and demonstrating our technologies. MRS is the ideal platform for us as, like our products, it covers a wide range of applications.
Duncan Stacey, Sales and Marketing Director
Stacey continued, "The conference also attracts both US and European visitors, many of whom are interested in using temperature and environmental control in their experiments."
“We’ve been creating sample characterisation solutions for the microelectronics and semiconductor fields for many years and our sample characterisation chambers guarantee accurate temperature control ranging from < -195°C to 1500°C."
"We also offer the ability to control the environment within the chamber, with options for gas purging, controlled vacuum or humidity. We look forward to engaging with show visitors and talking to them about their challenges and how we might be able to help.”
Visitors to MRS can talk to Linkam representatives about their sample characterisation requirements at booth 308. For more information contact [email protected]
