China Rules PVC has been Dumped

China’s Commerce Ministry has delivered a preliminary ruling regarding polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products from Japan, South Korea, Russia, Taiwan and the United States. They ruled that these countries have been dumping these materials onto the Chinese market at unfairly low prices.

The investigation which begun in March 2002, was initiated by Chinese PVC manufacturers.

Stunned by the decision, the countries in question will scrutinise the decision by the Chinese Commerce Ministry.
