TMS® (Tire Monitor System Ltd) has launched a magnetic mount which makes installation of internal TPMS sensors quicker and easier.

Speed of installation of the TPMS Sensor is a priority to most customers. External Sensors always offer the advantage of a short and simple installation process. However, for a number of reasons, internal sensors are often the preferred solution, particularly for OTR (Off-the-road) vehicles.
Vehicles working in remote locations and harsh environments demand an internal sensor which can give more accurate tire pressure and temperature readings. Given the siting of the internal sensors on the inside of the tires, the speed of installation of the sensor has always been a trade-off against security and accuracy of the readings.
To address this issue, TMS® have been working on improvements to simplify the internal sensor placement and we are pleased to announce that our new Magnetic Mount is now available.
This mount uses extremely powerful neodymium magnets combined with rubber toggles to simply attach to the rim. Any vehicle vibration is handled with the integral rubber toggles which we have been used successfully on OTR vehicles for decades.
The new Magnetic Mounts can reduce installation time dramatically, which can result in a welcome improvement on efficiency and productivity for our customers. What’s more, the sensor stays with the rim when a replacement tire is fitted, with no adjustments being required, saving you time and money.
