Corning Announces New Precision CNC Grind and Polish Capabilities

Corning has hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of a $2 million addition to Corning NetOptix, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary with manufacturing operations in Keene, NH. The expansion brings in precision CNC grind and polish capabilities as well as expanded coating capabilities and allows for additional assembly and test space.

As an industry-leading supplier, Corning's Advanced Optics and Materials businesses are addressing the aerospace and defense industry's increasing demand for complete solutions including design, materials, components and optical sub-assemblies. Corning NetOptix provides state-of-the-art optical finishing, diamond turning capability for reflective systems, coating and metrology capabilities.
