Dr Neil Sanderson has retired after 16 years service with CERAM. During his very successful period of leadership, he has taken the organisation from a UK focussed business heavily dependent on public funding, and turned it into an organisation of International repute, generating the surpluses needed to invest in people, infrastructure and R&D. It is now a well diversified, truly commercial and client driven business.
Neil has given the business a strategy, developed growth organically and through acquisitions, and ensured CERAM is very firmly placed on the International front, with partnership ventures in North America, Europe and Australasia.
Neil wishes his colleagues at CERAM every success for the future and commented:
“I am happy to be retiring confident that CERAM is a strong organisation with a highly qualified, dedicated and efficient team of people in place to ensure that it will continue to grow from strength to strength.”
Tony Kinsella will be stepping into the role as Chief Executive. Many people will know Tony from his role as Managing Director of CSMA and Division Manager of CTE. Tony joined CERAM in July 2004 from Mobilis Healthcare, where he was Managing Director.
Congratulating Neil on his years of success at CERAM Tony commented; “On the personal front, those who know him will confirm he is a tough negotiator, but at the same time a man of integrity, who does what he says he will do. His drive, ambition for the business and sheer persistence will be missed. It will be a hard act to follow.”
