Akzo Nobel to Divest Three Businesses

Akzo Nobel have announced that will sell off three of its businesses to reduce debt. These businesses are:

  • Catalysts
  • Coating resins
  • Phosphorus chemicals

The businesses have been described as profitable and the company has stated that they are in no hurry to sell. They will wait until they get a fair price for the businesses, that will provide good value to shareholders.

They have revealed that they have received offers for the business both in the past and recently.
