Trelleborg Complete Acquisition of Precision Sealing Solutions

Swedish-based Trelleborg Group have completed their acquisition of Polymer Sealing Solutions from the UK’s Smiths for approximately £495 million. The acquisition will form a new business division which will be known as Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions develops, manufactures and markets security critical polymer-based precision seals and systems. It primarily serves the automotive, aerospace, pipe and industrial sectors and is one of the leading suppliers in each of these sectors.
