Alcoa Complete Sale of PET Packaging Business

Alcoa have just completed the sale of their South American polyethylene terephthalate (PET) packaging business to Amcor for $75 million.

Despite the divestiture of this non-core business, Alcoa will continue to serve the packaging industry through other businesses including closures and other aluminium products. They also still maintain over 10 facilities in Latin America which service the packaging industry.
