Borden Acquire Specialty Materials Manufacturer Fentak

Borden Chemicals have acquired Australian-based Fentak Pty Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

Fentak are a manufacturer of specialty chemicals for the engineered wood, laminating and paper impregnation markets. The sale includes all technology and product lines as well as production facilities in New South Wales, Australia and Penang, Malaysia.

The new product lines associated with Fentak will compliment the core resins and adhesives ranges that Borden already possesses. Meanwhile, becoming part of Borden, will allow Fentak to tap into a global customer base more easily.
