Have you ever thought of having a garden that stands out from the crows? Is so, have you ever thought of using coloured mulch? BayScape from Bayer is a pigment designed especially for wood chippings. It comes in a range of colours outside of the usual ‘brown’.
When used properly, Bayscape is non-toxic and has no deleterious effects on the environment. Apart from its aesthetic properties, mulch is also functional acting as a sound absorber. It is also claimed to last about a third longer then conventional bark mulch.
The colour range available is based on iron oxide pigments which have a good adherence to wood. In fact they are not removed by rain or snow.
