Smorgon Steel Acquire Metal Recycler

Australian-based Smorgon Steel have just completed their due diligence and hence their acquisition of Chantlers Metal Recyclers. The deal was originally announced on September 2, 2003.

Chantlers Metal Recyclers are Sydney’s second largest non-ferrous recycler. The acquisition positions Smorgon’s as the largest recycler of industrial non-ferrous scrap metal in the Sydney region.
