The Hauser™ H45/H55 Series

The Hauser™ H45/H55 Series from Hardinge is an expandable jig grinding machine that can be used as a simple bore and form grinding machine or a completely automatic high-tech grinding and hard milling cell.

The latest Hauser jig grinding/hard milling head now offers an unprecedented range of grinding and milling techniques with its C, U, and Z configuration. With its high-grade stiffness and rigidity, in addition to a considerably boosted stroke speed and frequency, the Hauser™ H45/H55 series doubles the stock removal capacity, thus decreasing grinding cycle time while reducing spark out time by 50%.

Hydrostatic-guided spindle bearing system enables better than 0.5 µm circular accuracies in planetary grinding, while an unrivaled U axis capacity of up to +47 mm boosts the grinding autonomy.

Automated taper grinding is provided with Z U axis interpolation. Due to this latest grinding head technology, the high-accurate jig grinding combined with complementary hard milling has turned out to be a focal point of the Hauser series.

The H45 Series has a usable surface of 770 x 630 mm and a permissible load of 500 kg. The H55 series has a usable surface of 1440 x 860 mm and a permissible load of 800 kg with an optional 1500 kg.
