Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence - The S2 Picofox from Bruker XRD

Neil Hughes from Bruker shows us the S2 Picofox total reflection x-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer. He explains how this new technology works and how, unlike conventional XRF, it can detect elements down to the parts per billion, and in some cases parts per trillion level.

The S2 Picofox can detect elements from potassium to uranium and is a portable self-contained unit ideally suited to environmental and on-site monitoring.
