Mid-Mountain Materials offers CERMEX MT1000 Fiberglass Mat, a lightweight but strong material manufactured from high purity, highly resilient E-glass fibers. CERMEX MT1000 Fiberglass Mat is a very efficient thermal insulation material in a majority of high heat environments for prolonged periods at elevated temperatures. It is smoke-free on heat-up, as it does not contain organic or synthetic binders.
In addition, the absence of organic or synthetic binders enables CERMEX MT1000 Fiberglass Mat to exhibit high mechanical stability even after exposure to extreme temperatures. Figure 1 shows CERMEX MT1000 Fiberglass Mat material.
