Tell us about the company and why you are attending ACHEMA 2018.
We are Endress+Hauser and we're based in Switzerland. We are a family-owned company that has been running for 65 years now. We are here at Achema because one of the big topics is digitization and industry 4.0 and we are currently getting our edge devices into the cloud and stuff.
We're talking about our technologies, or as we like to call it, ‘the pallets of a product’. We're collecting data, but we are also analysing it, and optimizing predictive maintenance for our customers.
Which products are you promoting today?
We're promoting a lot of new products here, including our heartbeat technology and automation solutions. We provide products for laboratory processes that work with our data technologies.
What makes Endress+Hauser unique compared to other competitors on the market?
Heartbeat technology is a very unique technology. I think at the moment, we are the only company providing technology that can realize predictive maintenance in a unique way.
We have a product here at our booth which won the Hammett Award at the HME. It's a telometer which calibrates itself, which is also unique to the market.
Are you attending any other shows?
Achema was the big trade fair this year, so, Achema is the last one this summer. Later this year, I think we will be at FPS Ivecy Trials in New Mat. But, this year, Achema was one of the biggest trade shows. We also had a booth at the HME which is also a very important trade show for us, and a big one in the automation industry.
