Starting as a military product application, Strongwell’s HS Armor panels were installed and tested around the globe to protect high value assets.
After successful expansion into both the vehicular and building markets, in Tennessee, an educational institution with almost 1,200 students underwent a renovation over the summer break to secure entry points and ensure an added level of ballistic protection.

In order to supply UL Level 8 protection, the school district procured more than forty Strongwell HS Armor panels. Strongwell’s panels are tested independently to ensure strict adherence to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Levels 1, 2A, 2 and 3A and Universal Laboratories (UL 752) Levels 1 through 8.
The panels were hung and installed as per drywall and finished with a layer of drywall and compound in just a few days, with the help of contractors. In less than four weeks, the entire area was finished. This included paint, new entryways, trim and electrical wiring.
The school and contractor were both astonished with the simplicity of installation, fabrication and quality of the product made in the USA.
