Hitachi Denshi has added high-speed image capture and recording cameras to its existing range of industrial CCD cameras.

The new model cameras are low-cost and have built-in memory for recording. The VFC-300 has a resolution of up to 512x512 pixels, speeds of up to 300 frames per second, a maximum shutter speed of 1/100,000 of a second, and 256MB of internal memory.

The VFC-1000 has a maximum resolution of 512x472 pixels at speeds of 50, 125 or 250 frames per second, with a maximum speed of 8,000 frames per second at a resolution of 128x34 pixels. Maximum shutter speed is 1/100,00 of a second.
