Re-training or additional accessories are not required for users who already own an earlier model of the PBS-4100, as the new PBS- 4100 PLUS is fully compatible with all earlier PBS systems. Existing procedures, cables, and balancing coefficients will all work.

A set of maintenance and self-calibration utilities are also included to the system to keep the system availability at 100%.
Vibration Surveys – Clear, concise full-color graphics pinpoint vibration problems from acceleration and deceleration runs. Broadband and tracked vibration levels are accurately displayed in real time, enabling rapid diagnosis and return of the aircraft to service.
Vibration Diagnostics – The specific causes of engine vibration can be easily identified and repairs can be carried out quickly using the full-color vibration surveys and the spectrum analysis capabilities of the PBS-4100 PLUS.
Trim Balancing – With the Balancing Wizard, users can navigate through the trim balancing process with easy-to-follow instructions and graphics. Accurate weight solutions get the aircraft back into service quickly. Also, the PBS-4100 PLUS incorporates a 3-shot plot balance method to keep users flying when needed.
