The chrome moly steel, 13CrMo45, is mainly intended for use in the development of weldable steel pressure boilers and vessels in elevated temperature service.
The material has excellent anti-corrosive properties and provides excellent performance with higher than normal temperature resistance, making it perfect for use in sour service environments.
13CrMo45 is popular with the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and is supplied under the EN 10028 euro norm standard.
Technical information is given below for 13CrMo45.
