B&W Tek’s i-Raman® Prime system is a high-throughput, high-sensitivity, and fully integrated Raman spectrometer that includes fiber optic probe sampling and an embedded tablet computer.
The i-Raman® Prime portable spectrometer makes use of a CCD array detector with high quantum efficiency, high dynamic range, and deep cooling (−25 °C). This enables the system to offer research-grade Raman capabilities, such as real-time identification and quantitation capabilities.
The high throughput ensures a very good signal-to-noise ratio, thus enabling the detection of subtle sample differences and measurement of even the slightest Raman signals. The i-Raman® Prime range of spectrometers have a portable design featuring an exclusive combination of broad spectral coverage and high resolution, measuring down to a range of 150 cm−1 to 3400 cm−1.
For easy portability, the i-Raman® Prime system can be operated by battery, thereby offering research-grade Raman capabilities for high-precision quantitative and qualitative study anywhere. The system has been optimized for use with B&W Tek’s STRaman® technology.
