The Models 3021, 3022 and 3023 Piezoelectric Accelerometers from Columbia Research Laboratories are provided in a choice of sensitivities for shock work and general vibration.
The piezoelectric seismic system’s internal construction guarantees that the units have no evident spurious response to mounting torque, cable whip, cable vibration, body strains, pressure variations and most heat transients.
The stainless-steel housing offers an environmentally rugged unit, while the epoxy seal provides safety against industrial surroundings.
Its grounded case construction offers tight mechanical coupling that gives precise, vibration data and wideband shock. Such accelerometers feature a 10-32 side connector and are offered with a 10″ low-noise coaxial cable. High-temperature units will function in environments ranging up to +500 °F.
