NanoDrop Lite Plus Spectrophotometers

The Thermo ScientificTM NanoDropTM Lite Plus Microvolume Spectrophotometer, the entry-level companion to the full-featured Thermo ScientificTM NanoDropTM One/OneC and NanoDrop Eight Spectrophotometers, allows users to quickly and conveniently measure sample concentration and purity ratios.

This instrument provides rapid, precise measurements in an easy-to-use, affordable package, but has fewer capabilities than the premium versions.

The NanoDrop Lite Plus Spectrophotometer is an excellent teaching tool as well as a quality control tool in busy research laboratories. Using proven NanoDrop technology, it is possible to measure pure DNA, RNA and protein concentrations up to 30 Abs and determine important A260/A280 and A260/A230 purity ratios.

The NanoDrop Lite Plus Spectrophotometer is designed for routine nucleic acid and protein assays with only 1–2 µL of sample volume. This cutting-edge sample-retention technology removes the need to dilute extremely concentrated samples, allowing for simple measurements.

Simply pipette the sample onto the optical measuring pedestal, measure it and wipe it clean with a lint-free wipe. The NanoDrop Lite Plus Spectrophotometer takes up very little room on the benchtop, thanks to its tiny design and built-in controls and software.

The NanoDrop Lite Plus Spectrophotometer is the main instrument for simple microvolume measurements, thanks to its easy user interface and current industrial style. Even if budgets are limited, the lab can benefit from a NanoDrop.

Confidence in Results

  • Up to 30 Abs of pure DNA, RNA and protein content are measured
    • RNA concentrations of up to 1,200 ng/µL
    • dsDNA concentrations of up to 1,500 ng/µL
    • BS up to 45 mg/mL
  • Calculates the critical purity ratios of A260/A280 and A260/A230
  • Measurements that are considered standard
  • Touchscreen control built-in
  • Fast, precise readings from only 1–2 µL — no waste, preserves valuable samples
