The XRF Scientific automated macro thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) is a high-throughput solution for various thermal analysis applications. Thermal decomposition testing for various characteristics, including moisture, volatiles, ash, fixed-carbon, and Loss on Ignition (LOI) content, is done using thermogravimetry. To continually track sample mass changes over time as a function of temperature, the TGA analyzer uses specialised heating and weighing equipment.
Customers can create various thermogravimetric profiles based on their materials or phenomena of interest by employing user-defined thermal programs that are quickly established using an intuitive touchscreen interface.
