For liquid NRM probe operators who may have found using solid NRM probes challenging, the JOEL ROYAL PROBETM AUTOMAS offers a breakthrough solution.

Features of the ROYAL PROBE AUTOMAS include:

  • Alternates between solid samples without probe removal
  • Utilizes the current auto-tuning function and Auto Sample Changer as is
  • Provides the same level of user-friendliness as liquid NMR probes for standard measurements

Smooth Sample Exchange

The need for probe exchange in solid-state NMR measurements is eliminated. Samples can be loaded and ejected from above the magnet via the ROTORCARRIERTM without touching the probe, just like when using liquid samples, by setting a solid sample tube inside the device that looks like the rotor used for the liquid sample tubes.

Automatic Tuning

In contrast to liquid NMR probes, solid probes need manual tuning. The ROYAL PROBE AUTOMAS can tune different nuclei without touching the probe using the same Auto Tuning Unit as liquid NMR probes.

Continuous Automatic Measurements

The current Auto Sample Changer can be used with the ROYAL PROBE AUTOMAS. Setting the ROTORCARRIER loaded with the solid sample tube in a slot of the Auto Sample Changer enables continuous automatic measurements. Simply specify measurement conditions, like sample spinning speed, temperature, and pulse sequences, on the Delta NMR software in the same way as the liquid-state NMR measurements.
