easyFILL: Automated dosing station

easyFILL frees the operator from reagent addition and dilution by automating these steps, with the additional benefits of reducing their exposure to concentrated acids and ensuring consistency of the process.

Alleviating bottlenecks in sample preparation workflow

Repetitive sample preparation tasks are necessary for many analytical procedures. However, they lengthen turnaround times, increase lab costs, and take up valuable operator time. Adding acids and solvents to microwave digestion and extraction vessels is one such task.

In addition to being time-consuming, this procedure exposes the operator to harsh chemicals, raising the possibility of contamination from manual handling.

The easyFILL Automated Dosing Station is an essential tool in contemporary labs. It efficiently solves repetitive sample preparation challenges by leveraging a single platform that guarantees optimal workflow and increased operator safety.

Consistent results

With a large selection of racks to fit the majority of extraction or digestion vessels and vials, easyFILL provides flexibility. To meet most application requirements, the system can handle up to six reagents at once, including solvents like acetone, hexane, and methylene chloride and mineral acids like HNO3, H2O2, HCl, and HF.

EasyFILL is used to add acid before digestion and to pre-dilate or acidify the digested solutions after digestion. ICP autosampler racks can be used with easyFILL to eliminate the need for extra handling.

High flexibility

Acid handling frequently results in contamination and human error, which could lower the quality of the analysis. While the hands-off approach and high-purity PTFE for all the acid lines reduce the risk of contamination, the easyFILL pump's dispensing accuracy guarantees excellent reproducibility. When different reagents are dosed, contamination is prevented by the sequence's automatic line cleaning.

Enhanced safety

easyFILL is fully operated through a touchscreen terminal with customized software for seamless control. For routine procedures, the operator only needs to remember a stored method that includes the number of positions used and the type and volume of reagents.

The software keeps track of the waste volume and the reagents' availability in the bottles, allowing the operator to determine when to refill a reagent bottle or empty the waste tank. The software incorporates a guided process that allows the pump to be calibrated in minutes.

Smart software

While the hands-off approach and high-purity PTFE for all the acid lines reduce the risk of contamination, the easyFILL pump's dispensing accuracy guarantees excellent reproducibility. When different reagents are dosed, contamination is prevented by the sequence's automatic line cleaning.

easyFILL WORKFLOW

Less operator time, improved workflow, enhanced safety

The operator's valuable time is consumed by manually adding reagents, which reduces lab productivity and the chemist's capacity to complete other tasks. By automating these processes, easyFILL cuts down on operator time to seconds.

Configurations

EasyFILL is compatible with various ICP autosampler racks, digestion and extraction vessels, and racks.

SK-15 easyTEMP

High-pressure rotor

When digesting difficult-to-digest, reactive, or large sample masses, the SK-15 High-pressure rotor is always a good choice to make the process from sample to analysis easier. The SK-15 is a high-temperature, high-pressure rotor that can hold up to 15 100 mL PTFE-TFM vessels.

MAXI-44 easyTEMP

High-throughput rotor

Many laboratories routinely process a large number of samples, including soils, sediments, and aqueous samples. The MAXI-44 fully meets these needs, with up to 44 PTFE-TFM 100 ml vessels and excellent productivity, dependability, and user-friendliness. Any laboratory that needs to process large batches of samples will find the MAXI-44 to be a perfect fit.

MAXI-24 HP easyTEMP

High-performance throughput rotor

Compared to other high-throughput rotors, the MAXI-24 High Performance (HP) was designed with double pressure limits and a larger capacity. It uses a single rotor-based platform to process more samples and a diverse range of matrices. Users can increase their daily productivity by simply hand-tightening the quick-assembly vessels to close them.

fastEX-24eT easyTEMP

High-throughput rotor

The fastEX-24eT rotor can extract up to 30 g of sample with a small solvent volume. Using disposable glass vials eliminates the need for cleaning and the potential memory effect between runs. The 100 mL vials can extract a large sample. The vials' low cost and ease of handling result in high productivity and low operating costs.
