Novelis Becomes Sole Supplier of Aluminum Sheet for BMW’s New 5 Series sedan

Novelis announced today that it has been selected as the main supplier of aluminum sheet for the sixth generation BMW 5 Series sedan, which went on sale this spring. This latest model features lightweight aluminum sheet in the doors, hood, front fenders and reinforcement parts.

Hydro to Build Aluminium Recycling Plant in Norway

Hydro will build Norway’s largest plant for aluminium recycling at Karmøy. The plant will have an initial capacity of 35,000 mt. The total investment will be approximately NOK 260 million and will establish close to 40 new jobs in the plant.
