Delegates at this year’s Euro PM Congress & Exhibition, 29 September - 1 October, Mannheim, Germany will be able to participate in focussed workshops on ‘Hard Materials: Cermets, Ceramics and Superhard Materials’, ‘Quality of MIM products’, and ‘Compaction Technology – Advances and Future Challenges’.
The three seminars have been designed for distinct market sectors, which will be able to create a real focal point for their industry area.
The Hard Materials seminar will discover how Cermets, Ceramics and Superhard Materials will help improve machining productivity of new and existing work piece materials.
The Metal Injection Moulding workshop will explore the current issue of the quality of MIM products and discuss how future quality can be maintained and what will be involved.
The objective of the Compaction Technology workshop will be to determine benefits, practicality and limitations of current technologies and, as a result to identify areas that require further research and development.
The end of the special range of seminars will coincide with delegate tours of the Mercedes Benz Factory and the BASF factory for the Wednesday afternoon.
