Spartech Corporation has named a new Market Development Manager to its team. Bryan Lindquist joins the marketing and technology team reporting to Tim Hamilton, Director of Commercial Development, to provide on-site support to OEMs and thermoformers by specifying appropriate materials to meet their performance requirements.
"Bryan is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with extensive national account experience," Hamilton remarked. "His background in polyolefin technology, production and marketing will be an asset to our team and a valued resource to our client base."
Lindquist is a 26 year veteran of the thermoformed plastics industry. He most recently served as a Market Development Manager for Solvay Engineered Polymers and continued his work with the firm after LyondellBasell Advanced Polyolefins purchased the company. His primary focus was in market development of the sheet extrusion/thermoforming business for the agriculture, construction, and powersports markets.
"Bryan has proven talent in growing market share by providing excellent customer support," continued Hamilton. "He also has demonstrated skills in working with technical teams to develop new products. As Spartech continues to expand its product offerings based on market demands, Bryan's experience in this area will be invaluable."
Lindquist is a 1982 graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Business Administration. He is also a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). He will be based from his office in Minneapolis and will support the central region of the United States and Canada.
