IntertechPira, in conjunction with the National Hydrogen Association, is proud to announce the agenda for its 15th international fuels conference Hydrogen Production & Storage 2009. The conference will take place from Wednesday, September 30, 2009 through Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Marriott Washington Hotel in Washington DC.
"This conference is an opportunity for developers, producers, and users to discuss the viability and commercial potential of near-term technologies for producing and storing hydrogen, both on a large and a small scale," said Christine Groff, conference director for IntertechPira. "Hydrogen Production & Storage 2009 will address technical and commercial hurdles, the cost of implementing a new infrastructure, market and consumer acceptance issues, and the timetable of events necessary to transition to a Hydrogen Economy."
"With today's hydrogen storage technologies, we can drive cars more than 450 miles on one tank of hydrogen, make power at cell phone towers more reliable and help warehouses save money by switching to fuel cell forklifts," added Jeffrey Serfass, president of the National Hydrogen Association. "And the next hydrogen storage advances will allow products to run longer with less weight and take up less space. This is an important event to showcase these successes and have a frank discussion on what's needed to get hydrogen quickly and efficiently in and out of smaller containers that weigh less."
Speakers and session leaders will provide a close look at the market, addressing economic and technical constraints and stimulants for each production or storage method.
