Goodfellow Cambridge Ltd specialises in selling pure metals, alloys, ceramics, polymers and composites in a variety of forms to the research (R&D) and industrial markets. Having had TPX as part of the Goodfellow range for a number of years, the Company felt the opportunity to expand sales of this unique product by working with Mitsui was too good an opportunity to miss. The agreement for supplying small order lots into the EMEA region takes full advantage of the company's expertise in supplying materials to the R&D market globally.
As a result of the new distribution agreement with Mitsui & Co., Europe plc., Goodfellow is now able to meet the small quantity requirements of both research and industrial applications. It is considered by both Mitsui and Goodfellow that one significant benefit of this new arrangement is that it will provide the opportunity to reassess the applications of TPX, with the possibility that this unique material could be introduced into new interesting areas.
