Dec 30 2009
As of January 1st 2010, Noliac Group is starting to change the names of their products. Quality Assurance Manager assures, that here are no changes in the specifications, in the manufacturing methods or properties of the products at all.
Same product - new name
Noliac Group offers a broad range of piezo products developed and manufactured in several countries and at different manufacturing sites. During the years, many different product names have been used, and now Noliac wishes to introduce a consistent and well-recognizable name system for all products. Thus, during 2010 all product names will change consecutively according to a constant name system.
Quality Assurance Manager Lotte J. Beck states the following:
- We only change the names of the products. There are no changes in the raw materials, in the compositions or in the way that we manufacture the products. Thus, all properties and advantages of each product remain absolutely the same - we just have to get used to using the new names.
Website feature eases transition
There will be a transition period where both the new and the old names will be used, and therefore a feature on the Noliac Group website will show the previous name of the product, when you put the cursor over a new product name.
- With this feature, Lotte continues, we believe that the transition will become smooth and easy for our customers as well as for ourselves.
- This system also enables us to utilize the same product name system for our emerging new products, which we are looking very much forward to introduce, Lotte adds up.
Changes as of January 1st 2010
The first change concerns piezo materials and components.
- Piezo materials will be named piezo ceramics and will be recognized by the abbreviation NCE (Noliac CEramics)
- Piezo components will recognized by the abbreviation NCO (Noliac COmponents)*
