Newave Packaging Receives First Order for ewrap Non-PVC Food Film

Safetek International, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SFIN) today announced that following extensive tests by a large US paper/plastics distributor on its non-toxic and non-PVC food film ewrap™, its subsidiary Newave Packaging, Inc., has secured its first order for ewrap™ film. Management believes this order will open the door for other potential customers who have a need for an eco-friendly, non-toxic food film ewrap™.

As part of a national roll-out, Newave Packaging will start supplying the ewrap™ film in the United States in the next 45-60 days. Newave Packaging's initial focus and marketing strategy is to establish a recognized Brand for the product by initiating pilot programs in test locations via national and regional supermarkets, which could generate an increasing demand for the ewrap™ film from distributors to the packaging industry. As part of the Marketing strategy, Newave Packaging also anticipates setting up an Internet Sales division to offer products for sale online with a focus on cutter boxes for catering and retail use in homes.

Management believes consumers want to move away from using PVC products and use cleaner, eco-friendly, non-PVC products in the future. Newave Packaging aims to position ewrap™ film so that it can gain access to the approximately 1 billion dollar PVC food film market in the United States, doing so could establish a footprint in the market that has a long history of having a few large manufacturers as suppliers.
