Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) is pleased to announce the addition of three consultants to its global Business Advisory Service (BAS). Sukanya Boonneung, formerly with Nexant, joined CMAI on October 1, 2010. Helen Weeks and Sean Stevenson, both formerly with Nexant, joined CMAI on October 11, 2010. Sukanya is located in CMAI's new Bangkok office. Helen and Sean join an experienced team at CMAI's London office.
The additional consulting experience aligns with CMAI's Business Advisory Group strategy to expand its growing advisory consulting coverage and amplify its existing capabilities. Specifically, CMAI will formalize its expertise on Green Chemicals and operational / process capabilities with the formation of two new practices: Renewables and Technology, to complement its existing portfolio of Commercial, Transaction, Legal and Strategy practices.
Sukanya Boonneung joins CMAI with over 12 years of industry experience, most recently at Nexant and Chem Systems. Sukanya was involved in a variety of Nexant Chem Systems' engagements in Asia covering a wide range of petrochemical businesses and in many aspects of the studies, including economic valuation, technology/economic comparison, feasibility evaluations, business valuation and market and pricing analysis. She has an M.B.A. from the University of Birmingham. Sukanya will assume the role as a Business Advisory consultant in CMAI's new Bangkok office.
Helen Weeks joins CMAI with over 10 years of industry experience. Helen's early career was with Kvaerner as a Process Engineer prior to joining Nexant in 2001. Helen has worked on single client engagements covering market studies, pricing reviews as well as screening and feasibility studies. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry from the University of Aston. Helen will continue her expertise in the role as a Consultant in our Business Advisory Services sector.
Sean Stevenson's early career was with BP Chemicals, where he gained experience in manufacturing, safety and has worked on analysis and business development before joining Nexant in 2008. While at Nexant, he worked on feasibility studies, technical due diligence, lender's independent engineer engagements, corporate strategy engagements and multiclient studies. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Bradford University. Sean will assume the role as a consultant in our Business Advisory Services sector.
