Pionite Offers New Low-Emission Laminates for Homeowners

The warmth and sophistication of stone countertops are no longer a luxury for just the select few.

Pionite Decorative Surfaces has made it easier than ever for families to bring the look and feel of genuine stone into their homes.

Pionite's 18 new High Pressure Laminate (HPL) patterns and engineered textures enable homeowners to incorporate the natural qualities of stone into new or renovated kitchen and bath countertop designs. The durable, economical material is easy to care for and environmentally friendly. It requires no special treatments or sealers.

"These Pionite products give customers design choices for a fraction of the cost of genuine stone," said Robert Muller, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Panolam Industries. "You won't have to sacrifice the look you want because of financial considerations." Pionite is a division of Panolam Industries.

The line features colors, patterns and visual textures with unique personalities. Since the kitchen is the heart of the home and the family's main gathering place, Pionite invites you to know these products on a "first-name basis." Some examples:

Bernard – A mixture of gray tones with hints of blues and browns, replicating the look of stone seen through a gently flowing brook.

Frederick — A warm, undulating texture that invites you to take a closer look with both your eyes and your fingertips.

Ginger —The name says it all: a rich ginger-toned mix of lights and darks for a dramatic, deeply textured effect.

Isabella —A finely textured pattern with a hint of marble that could easily complement either bold or subtle colors.

"The line's colors and textures fit any design scheme and suit homeowners' most discerning tastes," said David Bell, Pionite's Director of Marketing and Design. "And they offer homeowners' a durable surface for families' day-to-day use."

Like all Pionite products, these new low-emission laminates are environmentally friendly. They're GREENGUARD-certified, and Pionite's proprietary resins are part of an eco-friendly manufacturing process.
