Coming out of one of the nation's most debilitating recessions, Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company has poised itself to build on the success that allowed it to withstand such a challenging economic climate. The company's president, Jack Gilchrist, has announced an initiative to offer leaner and more precise aluminum fabricating for customers in every industry.
Explaining customers' increased concern with their budget, Gilchrist says, "More than ever, customers need efficient and precise aluminum fabricating." Gilchrist continues, "It's our goal to understand what customers need and want before anything else, so we can meet and potentially exceed those needs, on time and under budget."
Gilchrist explains that customers needing aluminum metal fabrications from a wide variety of industries can expect not only efficiency and precision, but reduced lead times and rapid deliveries - regardless of project scope. He says, "The reduced lead time is key with the pressures of today, as we are all doing more work with less people. To the customer, that can mean that it takes longer to get information to the supplier but they do not have more time to get the product to their customer."
Gilchrist says, by combining greater cost efficiency, shorter lead times, and the ability to "Produce larger and more complex aluminum fabrications than others can handle," GMFCO hopes to come out of a tough economy as a better company and a better source for aluminum fabricating.
By delivering greater efficiency and precision in every aspect of the aluminum fabricating process, Gilchrist has positioned Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company to provide better and leaner aluminum metal fabricating services, aimed at establishing longstanding relationships with a newly recession hardened customer base.
With 5 axis precision milling centers, the ability to machine large aluminum components, and experienced MIG and TIG welders, Gilchrist says, "We're more prepared than ever to provide better aluminum fabricating."
