Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Announces Refined Custom Metal Fabricating Processes

Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company (GMFCO), a provider of large metal fabrications and large machining for customers across the country, has recently announced refined custom metal fabricating processes to benefit markets such as the oil drilling and exploration, commercial construction, and semiconductor industries.

When it comes to critical markets such as the oil drilling and exploration industry, there is often more at stake than lost profit when metal fabrications fail. In April of 2010, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico emerged as an example of the need for reliable metal fabrication companies that continually update their processes and equipment to deliver reliable and failsafe fabrications.

From large diameter carbon steel metal fabrications and reactor chambers, to large stainless steel tanks, Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company has the in-house capabilities to provide large and complex fabrications for a variety of industries. GMFCO's president, Jack Gilchrist explains, “Whatever the requirement, our goal is to provide exactly what customers need, and we won't start a job until we understand exactly what that is.”

In addition to working with customers from the earliest stages of their project, Gilchrist believes another edge over other metal fabrication companies is that, “We've continually invested in the latest fabricating and machining equipment so we can consistently improve efficiency and quality.” He also explains that by using exhaustive quality controls and industry best practices, as a metal fabrication company, GMFCO can deliver reliable and failsafe fabrications for the critical markets that need them.
