The leader in hydrogen fueling technology, Air Products is the exclusive supplier of hydrogen and fueling technology for all the hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicle events for the FCHE Conference beginning today through February 16, 2011 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center.

“This is the premier conference for showcasing the capabilities of hydrogen as an energy carrier. We are pleased to provide the hydrogen and fueling technology to assist the fuel cell vehicle makers’ hosting of several ride-n-drive events in Washington,” said Nick Mittica, commercial business manager for Hydrogen Energy Systems at Air Products.  “It will be a busy week with a lot of events scheduled to demonstrate vehicle capabilities and hydrogen’s use as an alternative energy.”

There are several scheduled ride-n-drive events, where conference attendees and others will have the opportunity to drive or ride hydrogen powered and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles over several days at the conference.  Air Products will also fuel the vehicles for planned events at Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, U.S. Department of Energy, and U.S. Department of Transportation, among other locations.

“We thank and applaud Air Products for their vital contribution to the success of the ride and drives and other activities during the FCHE 2011 Conference,” said Ruth Cox, president and executive director of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association.
