Targray Technology International expands its Solar materials product portfolio with the launch of its ToughSIL Classic Solar Module Lamination Diaphragm.
Targray is now the global exclusive channel to market for Taein Chemical Company’s Lamination Diaphragm.The ToushSIL diaphragm, available in widths up to 3,030 mm, is one of the widest laminator membranes available on the market without a seam. Targray’s diaphragm also has a consistently high life cycle count of over 2,500 cycles, dependant on set up and operating conditions. This impressive lifecycle is highly repeatable from batch to batch due to Taein’s advanced proprietary manufacturing process.
“Taein’s lamination diaphragms are a very valuable addition to our product family,” states Cheong Wei Chua, Product Manager at Targray. “This material combines a number of other important features including a silicone-base which does not emit health-hazardous Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs ) as with Butyl-based products; excellent elasticity and stability; and a high temperature resistance compared to EPDM diaphragms that don’t always perform well under high heat conditions.”
