Inventux Technologies has proclaimed that its silicon thin-film photovoltaic modules have received restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) certificate from TÜV Rheinland.
The certificate shows that Inventux’ products are eco friendly and free from toxic heavy materials such as lead and cadmium.
Earlier, Inventux had volunteered to have its photovoltaic modules checked for toxic free conformity by the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act and the European RoHS Directive. TÜV Rheinland’s certification further assures the eco-friendly attributes of the photovoltaic modules.
The RoHS certification enables Inventux to dispose its modules once their operating life ends. The silicon thin-film modules are categorized as traditional building glass and thus their recycling method eliminates comprehensive chemical processing.
The Chief Technology Officer at Inventux Technologies, Roland Sillmann commented that by complying with the guidelines voluntarily, the company has proved its ability to manufacture competitive and eco-friendly photovoltaic modules.
